Rooms & Accommodations
What started out as a simple family farm has over the years slowly evolved into a special place of ministry. The farm has been the offices of an international missions agency, helped launch a local church and hosted numerous weddings.
In the recent years, the homestead, barn and adjacent facilities have been refit and upgraded to provide a unique destination for gatherings from four to twenty. This fully self-contained facility has everything you’ll need for a relaxed and stress free event.
The Facilities - Overnight Accommodations
The farmhouse features three bedrooms and three full bathrooms with two optional bonus rooms. The bedrooms can be configured in a classic bunk room layout, featuring three bunks in each room. For smaller groups, the bedrooms can be configured with a combination of double beds and bunk beds, perfect for couples and families.
Each bunk room includes bedding and linens, featuring warm country comforters, cotton percale sheets, extra fluffy towels and a welcome amenities kit. Our goal is to provide a relaxed and restful environment in a warm country atmosphere. Our staff will be happy to discuss any specific needs or accommodations you and your group may require. Simply provide us your requests in the comments and request field when making your reservation and one of our staff will be in touch.
The Facilities - Dining & Cooking Accommodations
Something special happens when you gather around the table. Slowing down to enjoy the conversation and savor the meal can be spiritual encouragement for the soul. We've designed the dining hall to be the perfect place to linger over a great meal. We can configure the seating for groups from four to twenty so everyone feels connected to nature and one another during meal. We also have an extended double sided bar that can seat twelve for those early-morning cups of coffee and afternoon snack breaks.
The oversized country kitchen has all the equipment and room you'll need to make each meal a success. It is equipped with an oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator, two coffee pots, utensils, and dishes. We provide some basic items such as salt, sugar, coffee, tea, and paper goods. There is also a gas barbecue pit on the back deck that is available.
The Facilities - Common Areas
When we refit and upgraded the farm house, creating warm, open spaces for folks to gather was a high priority. The gathering room is a natural place for folks to engage and connect with one another. Plus the proximity to the kitchen makes it especially popular during meal times. The space is configured normally as an oversized living area complete with large sectional sofa and two separate seating areas. It can be reconfigured to accommodate group seating for teaching times if desired.
The most popular place on the farm is the back deck that overlooks our five-acre duck pond and backwoods. From greeting the day with a good cup of coffee to watching the sun slip behind the big pine thicket at the end of a day, the deck is the place to be. For larger groups needing a worship and event space, we can configure the barn to provide a very unique and comfortable meeting space. And last but certainly not least, our latest upgrade is our new amphitheater and fire pit area. From making smores, to enjoying a great conversation as the day wraps up, we expect this to be a popular location regardless of the temperature.
