DNow Weekends at Chuck's House and Farm

Take the hassle out of planning your next DNow weekend and head to the farm. From lodging, to cooking facilities and a private, relaxed location that allows you to focus on making this an amazing weekend of impact for your student group - Chuck's House is the place.

We can accommodate groups from four to twenty and have plenty of options for activities. Take advantage of our sports field with volleyball, soccer and other group sports gear available. And for a little slower activity we've got a horseshoe pit, cornhole and washers available.

When not outside enjoying the fresh country air, you'll find plenty of space for small and large group sessions. Breakout space is available for small group sessions and we can configure the back deck or the barn for your large group worship and teaching sessions. Local Mission Trips at Chuck's House and Farm

We started hosting local mission teams in the early 2000's in response to increasing costs for international mission trips and to allow the CMU family to be a blessing to our community here in Alabama. In recent years we've reduced the number of local mission trips we host each year to allow us to focus on making long-term relationships and impact here in the greater Montgomery area.

One of the many unique benefits of serving locally with Chuck's House is experiencing all the activities, serving opportunities, challenges and impact of an overseas mission trip without ever getting on a plane or needing your passport. The opportunity to witness the need and be given the privilege to be the hands and feet of Christ, right here in our own backyard, is often more impactful than serving in an overseas location.

We have a limited number of these trips on our calendar each year but would be happy to visit with you about coming and serving with Chuck's House. Feel free to view our availability calendar to see if your dates are available, but we'd ask you to contact the office prior to booking your trip to ensure we can coordinate with our local ministry partners.

Student Retreat Weekends at Chuck's House and Farm

We love hosting student weekend's at Chuck's House. From our early days, the farm has always been a special gathering place for students. Even though this was Big Chuck's working farm, he never turned away the opportunity for Chuckie or Michele to bring their friends out for an evening or weekend of fellowship, encouragement, and discovery.

It was this memory that provided the direction as we refit and upgraded the farmhouse. It was intentional that we created a warm, inviting and comfortable space where students could unplug from their daily pressures and connect with our Creator and one another. It's the way we honor Big Chuck's legacy - because he always focused on raising up the next generation of leaders to go and be Christ. Few things gave him more joy than seeing others share his passion for being the hands and feet of Christ.

No matter the size of your group or the focus of your time together - let Chuck's House be a part of your weekend. The farmhouse can accommodate up to twenty overnight guests and our dining and event spaces can easily accommodate groups up to fifty during the day.
